Question by Drew B: Two personal variables to use in a productions possibilities frontier?
Hello–

My profession has asked us to write an essay using the concepts of the production possibilities frontier choosing an example from our own life when we had make a decision that required us to choose between alternatives.

I’m choosing clothing and food as my variables to keep it simple and easy.

My question though, does someone have a better idea that I could possibly use as the two variables for my PPF?

any suggestions would be extremely appreciated as I feel that the ones I have picked are too weak.

Since you don’t produce clothing and food but you consume them, they are poor choices for a PPF unless you are Robinson Crusoe living alone on an island. Students produce A grades and all-night parties. Probably a good tradeoff there.
