Please let me know whether redemption proceeds of National Saving Scheme (The one which isdiscontinued now ) received by the Nominee after death of the Account Holder is taxable or not for the Nominee . I must clarify that I don’t know whether our (my family & my) investment is in the NSS 1987 scheme or NSS 1992 scheme . I , however , understand that NSS pays 7.5 % Interest on yearly compounding basis to the Holder .

Mass resignation from unions is only a way of exposing our deep dissatisfaction about settlement .But now we should broach the issue of disparity of salary to a legal forum.
we work one extra day more than the central and state govt employees.Our work pressure is immense .Still we get much less salary than them and all other PSUs.We have to start legal fight as soon as possible.It is a question of our prestige and right.Time is running out.Somebody has to take the initiative.Please contact me and let me know your opinions.I have every data about salary particulars of all the central,state govt and PSUs.
