basicaly m a freelance software developer, n one of my client deducted tds from my amount 10% of it on pan card number, wen i asked him he said something 20k/month or 50k /year is allowd something like dat i din understand , how to save it any idea , i am far from finance field i dont know anything about it please help

i have
1) 3 yr diploma in mechanical engg from Maharashtra board of technical education with 65% aggregate and 74% in final yr.

2) BE in mechanical engg with 57%in degree and 55% aggregate.
